Description

When an APSL horse currently recorded in the name of a US or Canadian individual or company is transferred to a US or Canadian buyer, the public studbook will reflect the name of the new owner, and new APSL papers will be issued to the new owner.

Use this product for US/Canada transfers. For horses still recorded under a foreign owner or entity, use APSL Transfer of Ownership (Foreign) instead.

Normally this process is initiated by the seller. The buyer may also initiate this transfer, particularly if the purchase was made at some time in the past.
