The United States Lusitano Association (USLA) is pleased to present a special panel discussion hosted in collaboration with the Associação Portuguesa de Criadores do Cavalo Lusitano (APSL). This webinar will explore the Lusitano horse through three essential lenses: Breeding, Dressage, and Working Equitation.
APSL has graciously offered to host this international discussion, bringing together respected experts actively shaping the Lusitano’s future in sport and breeding. The conversation will provide valuable insight for breeders, riders, trainers, and owners at all levels.

Miguel Ralão Duarte — Dressage
Miguel Ralão Duarte is a Portuguese dressage rider and Olympian who has represented Portugal at the highest levels of international competition. He is widely respected for his Grand Prix experience and for demonstrating the Lusitano’s capacity for success in top-level dressage.
Gilberto Filipe — Working Equitation
Gilberto Filipe is one of the world’s leading Working Equitation riders. A WAWE World Champion and internationally recognized competitor, he has played a significant role in advancing the discipline and showcasing the Lusitano’s versatility, rideability, and athleticism on the global stage.

Sheri Prucka
Sheri Prucka is the President of the United States Lusitano Association (USLA). She has been actively involved in Lusitano registration, education, and international collaboration, with a focus on strengthening the breed’s presence and understanding in North America.
