Genetic Comments
Jade’s powerful genetic lineage gives him extraordinary and correct conformation. He is truly a genetic storehouse of the best of the Lusitano breed. Evidence of this is that he has already won a silver medal from the APSL in the USA; an achievement that few Lusitanos attain.
What makes Jade so unique is his laid-back personality and eagerness to please, combined with a strong work ethic and enormous presence.
Impulsion, action and extension define his movement. He has excelled in dressage and working equitation, currently he is on a breeded hiatus from the show ring. He was the 2016 EARHC Eastern Region Lusitano Stallion Champion.
Jade unique and highly desired color includes the crème gene, giving him his buckskin pattern. Jade coat is also frosted and dappled. He has a lovely and correct Lusitano sub-convex head, almond eyes and Iberian body type, along with height and bone. Jade stands at 16.3 hands. These are qualities that will almost always pass to his offspring.

Jade's pedigree is of the lineage (Xaquiro on both sides) are producing the dressage horses that have been so successful in international dressage in recent years. This has resulted in Lusitanos now ranking 5th in FEI scores for breed (out of about 60 breeds).
Breeding Notes
Jade's older progeny are now in upper-level dressage and working equitation and are doing exceptionally well. Jade passes his calm and kind temperament, as well as his breathtaking gaits, to his offspring. Perfect for amateurs and professionals. Jade is very fertile and his semen ships well.
