USLA Horse Profile Terms & Conditions

The USLA Horse Profile platform (“Horse Profiles”) is provided by the United States Lusitano Association (“USLA”) as an informational service intended to promote USLA/APSL Lusitanos located in the United States and Canada. Horse Profiles may be displayed within various USLA directories, marketplaces, programs, and services, including but not limited to the Stallion Directory, Broodmare Directory, Sales Marketplace, awards programs, and other related USLA services.

By submitting or maintaining a Horse Profile, the Listing Owner agrees to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Eligibility

Listings are limited to current USLA members in good standing.
Horses listed must be USLA/APSL Lusitanos and meet any applicable USLA registration or certification requirements.
Additional eligibility requirements may apply to specific directories or programs.
USLA reserves the right to approve, edit, decline, or remove listings at its discretion.

2. Listing Information

Listing Owners are responsible for ensuring that all information provided is accurate and current.
USLA may display information already maintained in USLA/APSL records, including pedigree, breeder, ownership, registration, inspection, breeding approval, competition, and performance information.
Information contained within a Horse Profile may be displayed in multiple USLA directories, marketplaces, programs, publications, websites, social media, and promotional materials.

3. Photos and Media

Listing Owners confirm they have permission to use all submitted photos, videos, and other media.
By submitting media, Listing Owners grant USLA permission to display such materials in connection with Horse Profiles and related USLA activities.

4. No Endorsement or Verification

Inclusion in a USLA directory, marketplace, or promotional listing does not constitute endorsement or certification by USLA or APSL.
USLA does not independently verify ownership, health status, temperament, fertility, training level, competition results, pricing, or other representations made by Listing Owners.
Buyers, sellers, breeders, mare owners, and other users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence.

5. Limitation of Liability

USLA assumes no responsibility or liability related to horse sales, breeding decisions, contracts, transportation, veterinary outcomes, listing accuracy, or any losses arising from the use of Horse Profiles.

Use of Horse Profiles is at the user’s own risk.

6. Listing Fees

Horse Profiles may currently be offered at no charge. USLA reserves the right to introduce, modify, or discontinue fees associated with Horse Profiles or related services in the future.

7. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting or maintaining a Horse Profile, the Listing Owner acknowledges acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
